Major Auto Trans added one more direction to its range of activities – transportation of Nissan cars. The transports are to be carried out from the port and the Nissan plant in St. Petersburg to various regions in Central Russia. On 16 May 2011, the debut transport took place successfully. Major Auto Trans is the official transporter of Nissan cars since 2004. Until now, the main destinations used to be: Gdansk-Moscow, Gdansk-St. Petersburg, and Moscow-Central Russia. |

 On 2 June at the Car Distribution Centre Major-Chismena, the new unit for Rolfo Blizzard 3 transporters was tested for the first time. According to the representative of the Italian manufacturer Rolfo, the new construction of the Blizzard 3 unit was created in accordance with client feedback and demonstrates an improvement on all the drawbacks pointed out in the previous models of the unit. Blizzard 3 has a high load-carrying capacity according to the 4 m height and 20 length limitations. An additional advantage is the independently controlled hydraulic top levels. Major Auto Trans continuously works on minimising the risks of cargo damage during transport. Between 14 and 17 July 2011 at the Pestovskoe water reservoir the 10th Russian Yacht Race Championship in the yacht class Carter 30 will take place and, for the third time, the general sponsor of this big event will be Major Auto Trans.
