July 21 to 24, yacht racing on Carter 30 yachts took place in the Moscow region on Pestovo reservoir. The racing was held for the 9^th Russian Championship. 15 yachts and 105 yachtsmen from Moscow city and the Moscow region participated in the regatta. 7 races determined the winner — Hermes yacht and its captain Maxim Kuzmin. Gulfstream yacht and its captain Alexander Maximkin came in second. Third place went to the Freedom yacht and its captain Andrey Arbuzov. The championship was very interesting and entertaining. Despite the hot weather, the wind strength was sufficient to fill the sails. The employees and guests of Major Auto Trans watched the last day of the competition. On that day, two races were held. Thanks to the comments of a professional yachtsman, the guests could understand the development of the events instead of just watching beautiful yachts. Each of the guests chose a favorite, and voting for the Audience Choice Award (a sponge cake in the form of a car carrier loaded with chocolate cars) was carried out. At the award ceremony, the results were announced: the winner was the Ariadna yacht and its captain Mikhail Apukhtin, collecting 20 of the total 38 votes.
