Over 20 yachts from Moscow, Moscow Region and other Russian regions will take part in the race. The championship is organized by: the All-Russia Sailing Federation, Sailing Federation of Moscow Region, Carter 30 Yachts Association, Vodnik Sailing Club. Major Auto Trans Company is the primary sponsor of the championship.

The opening ceremony of the first regional “Volokolamsky” industrial district took place on October 3, 2008 in Volokolamsky district, Moscow Region. Major Auto Trans has been a resident of the industrial district carrying out the construction of the Car Distribution Centre in Volokolamsky district, near Chismena town.
